With more than 35 years of experience treating disorders of the digestive system, Dr. Gutnik is continuously learning and researching to offer you the most up-to-date care and treatments available. Board certification is obtained after several steps including an accredited residency or fellowship program and a rigorous examination.
In addition to board certification, Dr. Gutnik has written or co-written many articles over his career including “Treatment of Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor Induced Colitis with Infliximab” which appeared in the October 2019 issue of South Dakota Medicine and most recently “Esophageal Hemangioma: A Rare Cause of Chronic Gastrointestinal Blood Loss” published by South Dakota State Medical Association in 2023.
